Keith Gogos: From Baseball to Logistics Leadership
Meet Keith Gogos, Morrows Logistics’ new Logistics Manager. Keith’s career path took a fascinating turn from professional baseball in the U.S. to a successful 23-year tenure in logistics.
Before diving into logistics, Keith spent a decade as a professional baseball player in the United States (USA). Then, one day, serendipity played a role in his career transition after returning from the USA. During a jog, he crossed paths with a future employer, and that encounter launched his logistics career.
Keith’s logistics journey began with operational roles at notable companies like McDonald’s distributors and Sigma Pharmaceuticals. “My standout achievements would include transforming struggling teams into high-performing units and implementing Lean Six Sigma strategies that significantly boosted operational efficiency and profitability,” said Keith.
Now, at Morrows Logistics, Keith oversees the Keysborough Operations. “My role is about elevating the business by refining its culture and processes,” said Keith. My goal is to foster an environment of excellence and innovation within the organisation.”
Outside of work, Keith loves spending time with his family and coaching his son’s sports teams. He appreciates the work-life balance that working at Morrows provides, which allows him to pursue these interests while excelling in his professional role.
